Our Programs

Our programs empower students from urban and rural communities with the tools, guidance, and opportunities needed to succeed after high school. From college and career readiness to trades, military, and workforce pathways, we help students confidently prepare for their future.

A Snapshot of What We Are About

    Breakdown of Our Programs

Alabama College Scholarship & Career Expo

A statewide initiative connecting students and families with colleges,  universities, employers, and scholarship opportunities. Formerly known  as the Birmingham, Anniston, and Montgomery scholarship fairs, this expo  has helped thousands of students access higher education pathways,  financial aid, and career direction.

Diploma Completion Program (Dropout Recovery | Ages 15–21)

A second-chance pathway designed to re-engage disconnected youth and  support them in earning their high school diploma. Piloted in BCS, the  program combines academic recovery, personalized support, and career  planning to ensure students graduate with a clear next step.

    ACCAP Navigation Program

A comprehensive pathway system that  guides students from high school into postsecondary education or  skilled careers through two tracks:

High School → Junior College Track
Supports students in career tech, health science, and hospitality  programs with direct connections to junior college enrollment, reducing  barriers and accelerating transition after graduation.

    Skilled Trades Track
Introduces students to high-demand trades through early exposure,  hands-on experiences, and direct connections to training programs and  industry partners.

ACCAP Career Launch Alabama (Paid Mentorship Program)

A workforce development initiative that connects students with  automotive suppliers and industry professionals through paid  mentorships. Students gain real-world experience, workplace skills, and  exposure to high-demand careers while building a pathway to employment.

    Careers in Government Service

A pathway program introducing students to careers in public service  through partnerships with the military and AmeriCorps. Students explore  leadership, service opportunities, and structured career pathways that  contribute to community and national development.

Final Sprint & Immediate Action Programs

A targeted initiative focused on seniors to ensure every student  graduates with a clear, actionable plan. This includes last-mile support  for college applications, job placement, training enrollment, or  service opportunities—eliminating uncertainty after graduation.
